What are we recruiting for?
We are recruiting for the President of a leading Clinical segment – a senior executive responsible for the overall strategy, operations, and commercial performance of the business unit. This role comes with full P&L accountability and requires reporting directly to the CEO, with regular interactions with the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have experience serving Pharma and CRO clients, some familiarity with Statistical Computing Environments (SCE), and comfort operating across advisory, services, customized technology solutions, and software offerings. We are looking for a customer-focused leader who can drive profitable revenue growth, make strategic decisions, and foster a high-performance culture. Executive presence, autonomy in strategic and operational execution, and the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally are essential to succeed in this role.
What will you be doing?
- Define and communicate long-term strategy for the Clinical segment
- Translate vision into actionable product, service, and technology plans
- Ensure alignment with company objectives and market dynamics
- Set and manage revenue targets, quotas, and growth strategies
- Oversee sales performance, pipeline management, and client relationships
- Drive profitable revenue growth, retention, and new business opportunities
- Standardize processes, operational metrics, and accountability structures
- Ensure service excellence in project management, implementations, and support
- Monitor efficiency, capacity, and project margins
- Own P&L, revenue, profitability, cash flow, and KPI performance
- Analyze forecasts, financial metrics, and market trends to guide decisions
- Develop and execute business plans translating strategy into measurable results
- Lead Technology, Operations, and Commercial teams including Chief of Staff/Deputy
- Develop leadership talent and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture
- Represent the Clinical segment externally with clients, partners, and industry influencers
