What are we recruiting for?

Seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join an innovative manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle and contribute to both new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

What will you be doing?

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks,
• Build and manage product configurations and maintain accurate MRP item data.
• Support cross-functional teams with cost reviews, supplier discussions, and technical issue resolution.
• Complete engineering change requests and participate in check-and-release procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements and product range expansions

What will you bring to the party?

• Engineering qualification/apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience.
• SolidWorks expertise, with strong knowledge of design for manufacture.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and product costing.
• High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication skills.
• Organised, adaptable, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning
