What are we recruiting for?

We’re looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join a high-performing Engineering Department in Blythe Bridge. You’ll be part of a well-established manufacturing business, supporting the smooth running, reliability, and improvement of our bespoke production machinery.

What will you be doing?

You’ll work closely with the Engineering Manager to deliver planned and preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and continuous improvement projects across our manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role within a dynamic team where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on productivity and efficiency.

• Mechanical maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of machinery
• Supporting installations and upgrades to production equipment
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures

What will you bring to the party?

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 qualification (ideally in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering)
• Proven experience within an industrial or manufacturing engineering environment
• Strong fault-finding skills, particularly with motors and drives
• Hands-on installation and repair experience
• A proactive mindset, great teamwork, and a commitment to health and safety
